Política de privacidad

This policy explains how Wind & Honour collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit the store, place an order, contact us or choose to receive marketing. Wind & Honour is the store name used for customer communications. The current contact email shown on the store is the privacy contact.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the store, information can include contact and delivery details, order and transaction records, correspondence, marketing choices, device or browser information, IP address, cookie identifiers and interactions with the storefront. Do not send payment-card details, passwords or identity documents through the contact form.

Payment details are handled by the selected payment provider and Shopify’s checkout systems. Wind & Honour does not need to receive the full card number in order to process an order.

Why we use information

We use personal information to operate checkout, process and fulfil orders, take payment, provide delivery and tracking, answer questions, prevent fraud, keep financial and customer-service records, comply with legal obligations and protect the store. Where marketing has been requested, we use the recorded consent to send it and provide an unsubscribe method.

Shopify and service providers

The store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes storefront, account, checkout and commerce data as described in its own privacy materials. Information may also be shared with payment providers, fulfilment and delivery providers, technical service providers and professional advisers only to the extent needed for their role.

Judge.me provides the product-review features. When you use a review form, it can process the review, rating, display name, email address, submitted media and relevant product or order information. Shopify account and order matching are used to support reviewer verification. Review-request emails are disabled; reviews are moderated under the published review policy and are not filtered by star rating.

Providers can process information in countries outside the United Kingdom. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used by the relevant controller or processor for an international transfer.

Cookies and pixels

Essential technologies support security, checkout, basket and privacy choices. Optional analytics or marketing technologies are controlled through Shopify’s Customer Privacy tools where they are enabled. Read the Cookie Policy and use Cookie preferences to review or change a choice.

How long information is kept

Information is kept only for as long as needed for the purpose described, including order support, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes and legal obligations. Different records can have different retention periods. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to certain use. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time. Some information must still be retained where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Use the store’s current contact email to make a privacy request. We may need enough information to verify the request without asking for unnecessary identity material. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe a data-protection concern has not been resolved.

Changes

This policy may be updated when store practices, providers or legal requirements change. The published date or last-updated date on the policy indicates the current version.
